Three Wisconsinites were sentenced for their roles in a cocaine distribution conspiracy Tuesday.
Anthony Jameson of Lone Rock, and Jon Bertel and Rachel Kopp of Watertown all received sentences from U.S. District Judge Barbara Crab.
Jameson was sentenced to one year of probation, Bertel was sentenced to one day in prison and one year of supervised release and Kopp was sentenced to 30 months in prison and three years of supervised release, according to a U.S. Attorney’s Office statement.
The sentencing comes after a drug investigation that began in November 2007 in Jefferson County. Phone taps that began in 2008, during which 8,000 phone calls were monitored, according to the statement. More than $100,000 and an unspecified amount of cocaine were seized, and 19 individuals were arrested as a result of the investigation.
