MADISON, Wis. -

Three young people were robbed after being pistol-whipped by two men on Madison's west side Saturday night, according to Madison police.

The three victims told police they were inside an apartment on the 2200 block of Cyprus Way  around 10:20 p.m. when two men they didn't know were let in.

According to the report the victims were looking for someone who knew the men when they hit them with guns and robbed them of jewelry, electronics and money. They also asked where a safe was located. 

The robbers were described as black men in their 20s, both about 6 feet tall, wearing sweatshirts and jeans.
