MADISON, Wis. -

An Oregon teenager was sexually assaulted while walking with a group of people in downtown Madison early Sunday morning, according to a release from Madison police.

The 18-year-old told police the group was walking on Conklin Place when a man pulled her toward him. She said he kissed her, touched her inappropriately and told her he wanted to have a sexual encounter.

Police said the woman yelled for him to stop and another woman helped pull her away.

The victim said she didn’t know the man or anyone in the group she was walking with.

The man is described as white, in his early 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 180 to 190 pounds with a thin build, shoulder-length wavy brown hair, narrow face and facial stubble. He was wearing a black T-shirt with a badger and Wisconsin on it, dark blue jeans and tennis shoes that were possibly black.
