Stick shift thwarts would-be car thieves
Men take off after realizing no one can drive a manual transmission
A group of would-be car thieves in Massachusetts is thwarted after realizing none of them could drive a stick shift.
The men held up a delivery driver in Springfield on Tuesday night, demanding his food and the keys to his car, police told The Associated Press.
Then they realized the car had a manual transmission.
The men argued among themselves for a bit before making off with the food, The Republican reported.
The driver was not seriously injured, and no arrests have been made.
