MADISON, Wis. -

A state government spokeswoman says no data has been lost as the result of a weekend computer crash affecting at least five state agencies, including Health Services and the Department of Corrections.

Wisconsin Department of Administration spokeswoman Stephanie Marquis said Thursday an issue with some of the state's storage devices and servers was identified on Saturday. She says the problem was caused by a vendor working on equipment.

Marquis says those most affected were the departments of Health Services, Natural Resources, Corrections, Administration and Safety and Professional Services.

Marquis says the system continues to be scanned, and no issues have been found with any applications or data. She says, "The vast majority of file servers are available, but we are continuing to scan the system and restore the data backups."

She said no data has been lost, no information was compromised, and they are working on restoring the remaining drives.
