Sauk County sheriff’s officials look for the public’s help in investigating multiple incidents involving heroin, according to a release.
Deputies said the 911 Call Center has received two calls in one week for a person not breathing because of a suspected heroin overdose.
On Monday, deputies responded to reports of a man not breathing at a motel in West Baraboo, according to a release. When they got there, the man was breathing but was unresponsive.
The man was transported to St. Clare Hospital and is expected to make a full recovery, police said. They believe he overdose on heroin.
Sauk County sheriff's deputies also responded to a suspected heroin overdose Oct. 15 in the town of Troy, according to the release. EMS assisted the unconscious person with breathing until they were transported to the Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital.
