MADISON, Wis. -

Gov. Scott Walker's spokesman Cullen Werwie is leaving the position he's held for more than two years for another one within the administration.

Walker's office announced Friday that Werwie is being replaced Monday by Tom Evenson. He currently works as spokesman for Republican Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald. Evenson previously worked on Walker's campaign and in his press office.

Werwie will serve as state agency communications liaison within the Department of Administration and be paid $70,000 a year. He had been making $64,000 as Walker's spokesman. Evenson will be paid $65,000 in the position.

Werwie worked on Walker's 2010 campaign and received immunity for his testimony in the now closed investigation into former aides and associates of Walker's during his time as Milwaukee County executive.
