Elected offices/experience: Previously served as Milwaukee County executive from 2002 to 2010 and had been a member of the Wisconsin Assembly from 1993 to 2002.
Education: Attended Marquette University, and left in his senior year to work full-time in development for the American Red Cross
Family: Walker is married to Tonette, and they have two sons in high school, Matt and Alex.

Tom Barrett (Democrat)
Occupation: Mayor of Milwaukee
Elected offices: Served as mayor of Milwaukee since 2004. Served first in the Wisconsin Assembly beginning in 1984, then in the Wisconsin Senate from 1989 to 1993. He served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1993 to 2003.
Education: Earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1976 and his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1980.
Family: Barrett and his wife Kris, a teacher, have four children. Their home is in the same Milwaukee neighborhood where Barrett grew up

Republican Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch
Address: Oconomowoc. She was born in Milwaukee.
Occupation: Wisconsin's Lieutenant Governor .
Elected offices/experience: She worked as a news reporter and TV anchor.
She formed her own company, Rebecca Kleefisch Enterprises, Inc.
Education: Graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison
Family: She is the mother of two daughters, Ella and Violet. She lives in Oconomowoc with her husband, state Rep. Joel Kleefisch.

Democrat Mahlon Mitchell
Address: Fitchburg. He was born in Milwaukee and grew up in Delavan, Wis.
Occupation: Serves as President of the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin
Elected offices/experience: Prior to his election as president of the Fire Fighter's Association, Mitchell served as a firefighter for more than 15 years in Madison. He was a counselor at the Wisconsin Alliance for Fire Safety's Burn Camp, which he also directed for five years. He also worked as a street outreach coordinator with Briarpatch and Youth Services of Southern Wisconsin. He was also a real estate agent for six years at First Weber in Madison.
Family: Mitchell lives with his wife, April and two children, Sie'anna and Karson, in Fitchburg.

Republican Sen. Scott Fitzgerald
Address: Juneau. He was born in Chicago and moved to Hustisford, Wis., when he was 11.
Occupation: Senator; Senate Majority Leader
Elected offices/experience: In 1994, Fitzgerald was elected to the Wisconsin Senate, and he has been re-elected since 1998. He was elected by his Senate Republican colleagues as Senate Majority Leader for the 2011-2012 legislative session. He joined the U.S. Army Reserve in 1981 and was commissioned as a lieutenant in the Armor Branch in 1985. He completed the Army Command and General Staff College and served in a number of assignments during his 27 years of service, including Battalion Commander. In 2009, he retired from service at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He worked for nearly 10 years in the newspaper publishing business.
Education: He graduated from Hustisford High School in 1981. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1985.

Republican Sen. Terry Moulton
Address: Chippewa Falls. Born in Whitefish, Montana, Moulton moved to Chippewa Falls with his family when he was 2 years old. He grew up on the shores of Small Lake Wissota and has spent almost his entire life in the Chippewa Valley.
Occupation: Senator representing District 23 since 2011.
Elected offices/experience: Moulton was elected to the State Assembly in 2004 and was re-elected in 2006. In 2010, Moulton was elected to the State Senate and serves as Chair of the Workforce Development, Small Business and Tourism Committee. He also sits on the Committees on Agriculture, Forestry and Higher Education, Health, and Natural Resources and Environment and serves on the Governor’s Councils on Tourism and Workforce Investment. For more than two decades, Moulton has owned and operated Mouldy’s Archery and Tackle. Before opening his business, he worked for 17 years in the administration at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chippewa Falls.
Family: Moulton is married to wife Sue Kay, and together they have two children and eight grandchildren.

Democrat Kristen Dexter
Address: Eau Claire. Dexter was born and raised in Hallock, Minn.
Occupation: She is a metalsmith by trade.
Elected offices/experience: Dexter was a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 68th District since 2009. In the Assembly, Dexter served as the Vice Chair of the Committee on Education and as a member of the Committee on Public Health, Committee on Renewable Energy and Rural Affairs, and the Committee on Rural Economic Development. Prior to her election she served on the Altoona Board of Education from 2002-2008. Dexter is a member of the American Association of University Women (AAUW), Beaver Creek Reserve, Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce, and the Wisconsin Farmers Union.
Education: She graduated from UW-River Falls with a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts.

Address: Racine. He was born in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

He was first elected to the senate in 2010, having previously represented District 7 in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 2002 until assuming his seat in the senate.Before that, he worked for the Racine Police Department from 1972 to 2001

Address: Marathon. Born in Wausau, Wis. Lifelong Resident of the 29th Senate District.
Occupation: Current State Representative in the 86th Assembly District
Elected offices/experience: Elected to the State Assembly in 1998. Chair of Assembly Transportation Committee; Voting member of Public Health and Public Safety, Rural Economic Development and Rural Affairs, and Veterans and Military Affairs; Serves on the Governor's Council on Highway Safety, Transportation Projects Commission, Midwest Interstate Passenger Rail Commission, and the Rustic Roads Advisory Board. Over 30 years of experience as a small business owner/ginseng, dairy and beef farmer; nine years as a Machinist at Marathon Electric; member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #1791; six years in the U.S. Army Reserves (the 213th S&S Battalion).

Democrat Donna Seidel
Address: Wausau. Seidel was born in Neenah and graduated from Neenah High School.
Occupation: Wisconsin State Representative for the 85th Assembly District. Currently, Seidel serves as the Assistant Democratic Leader and as a member of the Committee on Health, Committee on Children and Families, Committee on Assembly Organization and Committee on Rules.
Elected offices/experience: Upon graduating from UW - Stevens Point, Donna became a police officer and later an investigator in the Marathon County District Attorney’s office. Donna first became an elected official serving as Clerk of Courts in Marathon County. After serving as the Clerk of Courts for 16 years she was elected state representative for the 85th Assembly District.
Education: She attended UW-Stevens Point and received a B.S. in Sociology.
Family: She is married to Andy Benedetto. Her daughter, Kim, lives in Minneapolis with her husband Paul; her stepchildren Adam and Cara live in New York City.
