MADISON, Wis. -

Some of the first votes for the November election have been cast in person in Wisconsin.

Clerks' offices in parts of the state that have already received their ballots began offering in-person absentee voting hours Monday.

Locations in Dane County now offering voting include the City of Verona, Town of Oregon, Town of Sun Prairie and the Villages of DeForest, Deerfield and Cottage Grove.

The City of Verona clerk said they had three voters by 3 p.m. on Monday.

The City of Madison will start offering early-voting hours on Sept. 26.

The early-voting hours are being allowed under a recent decision by a federal judge to block parts of a law that limited the number of days and hours that in-person absentee voting could be offered in a clerk's office.
