MADISON, Wis. -

Police are looking for help in identifying a man from a surveillance video who may have witnessed a sexual assault in downtown Madison last month. 

The Madison Police Department shared two images connected to a the sexual assault of a 22-year-old woman on West Wilson Street. One image is a police sketch of the man who attacked the victim in a parking lot at about 1:45 a.m. Nov. 3. 

The second image released Wednesday morning is a surveillance still of a man who police said may have witnessed the assault. 

The victim told police she met a man while out socializing. After going to a bar together, the man convinced her to go into a secluded parking lot on West Wilson because the victim was looking for her friend's car. The man sexually assaulted her in the lot, the report said.

The man was described as mixed race with a tan complexion, in his mid-20s with a chunky build and a nearly shaved head, police said. He had facial stubble and was wearing a dark-colored pullover with an orange design on it. He may have been wearing rimless eyeglasses.
