Authorities are seeking help locating a truck involved in a hit and run late Friday afternoon.

The Green County Sheriff's Department said a white dual-wheel pickup truck collided with a vehicle on Highway EE in the town of Mount Pleasant at about 5:42 p.m. The truck fled the area after the crash.

The report said the other vehicle in the accident, driven by Dustin Shaw, 29, of Black Earth, became stuck in the ditch after the collision.

Shaw was wearing his seat belt and was not injured in the accident, the sheriff's department said. His vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage and was towed from the scene.

The sheriff asked anyone with information on the white truck to call the department at 608-328-9400 or the Green County Crime Stoppers at 800-422-7463.
