The Department of Public Health is looking for information about a dog bite that happened Tuesday night at the Sycamore dog park on the east side, according to a release.

Officials said the dog bit a man around 6:15 p.m. when the man attempted to separate three dogs that were fighting at the dog park.

The dog sustained an injury to its left rear leg as a result of the incident, according to the release. The dog is described as weighing 35 pounds with medium-length yellow hair.

Officials said the dog owner is described as having black hair and being approximately 50 years old.

Police ask anyone with information regarding the incident to call the police and fire dispatcher at 255-2345 and ask for an animal services officer.
