MADISON, Wis. -

A 27-year-old homeless man was arrested Friday morning after causing a disturbance and resisting arrest at a downtown coffee shop, according to a police report.

Kevin E. Kieren, 27, was asked to leave Michaelangelo's coffee shop on the 100 block of State Street around 7 a.m. after urinating on a chair inside the shop, according to a report.

According to a report from Madison police,  Kieren proceeded to urinate on the floor after being asked to leave. He eventually exited through the front door, but tried to re-enter the building through the back door after officers arrived on the scene.

While officers were attempting to arrest Kieren, he reached for one of the officer's guns forcing the other officer to use a Taser on Kieren, which was not effective.

The coffee shop manager then helped officers hold Kieren down before he was taken into custody.

Kieren was arrested for attempting to disarm an officer, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and violating parole.
