BEAVER DAM, Wis. -

Police said a 26-year-old man sent explicit photos to someone he believed was a 14-year-old boy, then tried to meet him in Beaver Dam.

The Beaver Dam Police Department said Bryce J. Lenz, formerly of Wisconsin Rapids, responded to an ad online posted by an undercover Beaver Dam officer. The officer was posing as a 14-year-old boy.

Lenz sent sexually explicit photographs to the officer, then agreed to meet who he believed was a 14-year-old boy on Wednesday, according to the report. Police said Lenz planned to have oral sex and possibly engage in other sexual acts with who he thought was an underage teen.

Police arrested Lenz near Gomer Drive and West Circle Drive in Beaver Dam on suspicion of using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime as a repeat offender, three counts of felony bail jumping and one count of misdemeanor bail jumping. Police said Lenz also had eight active arrest warrants.

Lenz was being held in Dodge County Jail Thursday, police said.
