Police: Adams Co. theft suspects identified, in custody
Officials believe there isn’t any ongoing threat to community
The Adams County Sheriff’s Department announced Wednesday it has identified three suspects as the result of an investigation into a recent string of residential burglaries and thefts from vehicles in the Village of Friendship and Town of Adams.
Harley R. Dalke, 19, of Friendship, was arrested Tuesday on charges of burglary, theft and auto theft, according to the release.
Officials said Harley is one of three people suspected of entering victim’s homes and vehicles in the overnight hours of July 24. The suspects stole a vehicle to haul the stolen items away.
A second suspect has been identified as Luis J. Alfaro, 17, of Friendship, according to the release. Charges against Dalke and Alfaro will be referred to the Adams County District Attorney’s Office.
Officials said a third suspect, a 15-year-old juvenile, will be referred to juvenile authorities for his alleged role in the burglaries and thefts.
The offenders in this case targeted unlocked homes and vehicles, according to the release.
Officials remind residents to lock homes, vehicles and outbuildings, and be vigilant about suspicious activity in your area.
The Sheriff’s Department has no further information that any other suspects are at large or that there is any ongoing threat to the community, according to the release.
