MADISON, Wis. -

A pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint while making a delivery to a west side neighborhood, according to Madison police.

The 27-year-old victim told police he went to an apartment building in the 6700 block of Schroeder Road Wednesday night. A man, who appeared to be the person who placed the order, opened the door to the building and demanded the delivery driver’s money.

The driver said he thought it was a joke until he saw a second robber appear in a mask. The robber put the barrel of a handgun against the victim’s neck, according to police. The robbers got the man’s wallet, phone and keys, as well as his employer’s cash, food and pizza warming bag.

The other man is described as 15-25 years old and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black bandana and black jeans.
