MONROE, Wis. -

A man from Rockford, Ill., was injured when he was struck by a vehicle in Monroe on Thanksgiving, according to the Monroe Police Department.

Police were called to the intersection of 14th Avenue and 22nd Avenue at 7:53 p.m. for a report of a hit-and-run crash with injuries.

Officers said the 68-year-old victim was struck by the vehicle which fled the scene.

The man was taken to the Monroe Clinic emergency room for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said they found the suspect vehicle and arrested a 17-year-old Monroe boy on suspicion of hit-and-run causing injury and inattentive driving.
