Motorcycle lovers turned out in droves to see, and hear, thousands of Harley-Davidsons rumble through Milwaukee.
The parade is part of this weekend's 110th Harley-Davidson Anniversary celebration. More than 100,000 people from around the globe are expected to take part in concerts, street parties and other weekend events.
The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported that Gov. Scott Walker was also part of the parade. He rode his Road King, and wore a black vest with motorcycle pins.
The bikers with American flags on their bikes got the most applause. One man with at least 15 flags was cheered like a war hero.
Jo Dunnin, of Wauwatosa, watched the parade with her family. She said she loves the bikes from other countries. Parade participants included riders from South Africa, the Netherlands and Mexico.
