A witness told deputies a southbound car driven by Melloch began to lose control while going through a curve and crossed into the northbound lane.

The car collided with another car driven by Loni M. Manion, 30, of Stoughton. Deputies said the southbound car continued into the path of a second vehicle, a truck driven by Larry L. Seidel, 66, of Stoughton.

Manion and Seidel were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The Dane County Sheriff's Office said speed and road conditions were factors in the crash.
