A Spanish physicist has invented a new flavor of ice cream that changes color as it is licked.
Chef and physicist Manuel Linares, the creator behind a company called IceXperience in Spain, created Xamaleón, a cutting-edge ice cream flavor that starts out one color and then changes as a person eats it, Phys.org reports.
The ice cream starts out as a periwinkle blue and then turns to bright purple and pink.
Linares claims the reaction is caused by a change in air temperature as well as the heat from saliva. He also says that a spritz called the "love elixir" gets sprayed onto the ice cream after its been scooped into a cone, which accelerates the color changing process.
