Cold temperatures gave one high school a shock to the system Monday morning.
Riverdale High School in Muscoda had a problem with a circulation pump before school started, and it left students wearing their winter coats and gloves to class. One student even took pictures of a group warming up by an oven.
Bryce Bird, the district administrator, said classrooms were in the 50s at the beginning of the day, but likely got up to the 60s by the afternoon.
He said it was uncomfortable but not dangerous.
Bird also said everything should be back to normal when students return to the school for classes on Tuesday.
