MADISON, Wis. -

Two men grabbed money and cigarettes from a north side convenience store late Sunday night before running away, according to Madison police.

The incident happened at the Citgo Quik Mart in the 1000 block of North Sherman Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to police, the two men grabbed the clerk at the store, implied they had a weapon, and made him open the till.

Police described the men involved as black with medium builds. Police said one was wearing a red hoodie at the time of the robbery, while the other was wearing a black hoodie with a black hat. Anyone with information about this incident should call Madison Crimestoppers at 266-6014.
