JANESVILLE, Wis. -

A man armed with a knife robbed a convenience store in Janesville Thursday night, according to Janesville police.

Officers said the robber entered the Stop-n-Go at 1604 E. Racine St. at 11:37, presented a knife and demanded the clerk give him money. He took an undisclosed amount of money and fled west on foot.

The robber is described as black, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a slender build. He was wearing a black nylon jacket and black jeans.
