DEERFIELD, Wis. -

A man was arrested in Deerfield Monday night after he assaulted a woman and pulled a handgun from his coat, according to a release.

Deputies said Pablo J. Lira, 35, fled Kurt’s Never Inn on North Main Street after he displayed a handgun in front of other patrons around 9:30 p.m.

According to a release, Lira assaulted a woman, then pulled a handgun from his coat and threatened the woman.

Lira was later found at the Rail House Bar in Deerfield and was taken into custody, deputies said. The handgun was recovered from a snowbank near Kurt’s Never Inn on Tuesday.

Lira was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct while armed, fourth-degree sexual assault and carrying a handgun in a Class B establishment.
