Man flees after robbing Janesville convenience store

JANESVILLE, Wis. - A man fled after robbing a JR Quick Mart on Midland Rd. in Janesville early Sunday morning, police say.

Police responded to the scene around 1 a.m.  By the time they arrived, the man had already demanded and attained an undetermined amount of money from the store employee and left.  He was not armed. 

The employee described the suspect as male, unknown race, approximately 5-foot-9 with medium build.  He was wearing a black hooded jacket, gray rag covering his face and gray winter gloves.  The employee believed he was wearing darker colored pants and boots.
