MONONA, Wis. -

A man told police he was abducted by three men at gunpoint, robbed and pushed out of a minivan, according to Monona police.

The 26-year-old victim said he was walking in the area of Kings Row and Monona Drive when three men in a minivan abducted him. They took his shoes, pants, wallet and cellphone.

The victim was pushed out of the van in the area of Femrite Drive and U.S. Highway 12.

"He wasn't able to actually get a good look at anybody's face so just the basic descriptors is what we have," said Lt. Frank Fenton.

One of the robbers is described as white, 21, with short blond hair and wearing a black, long-sleeved shirt. Another is described as white, 30, with dark hair and wearing a sleeveless shirt and a white and green hat. He also had tattoos on both upper arms with green ink. The third man is described as white, 21, and wearing a red sleeveless shirt. One of the men might be named “Jake.”

The minivan is described as blue with a partial license combination of S 6 5.

The victim was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries and released.

"We don't have any other cases like this in Monona," said Fenton. "This seems kind of like a one-time random event but we don't have enough information to be honest with you, to draw any conclusions at this point."
