MADISON, Wis. -

Madison police have released surveillance photos of the man believed to have robbed a wireless phone store on Madison's near east side Feb. 3.

Officers were called to Cricket Wireless at 2927 E. Washington Ave. at 6:40 p.m. for a report of a robbery.

Police said the masked robber kept a hand in a pocket making it appear he had a handgun. The man demanded and received cash and fled on foot.

The robber is described as black, younger looking, tall and wearing a black hooded-sweatshirt, dark jeans, black and white basketball shoes and a black mask covering his face below the eyes.
