Madison College announced three finalists in its presidential search Thursday.
The candidates are finalists to serve as the eighth president of Madison College, according to the release.
The candidates have been named after a national search and will participate in a series of forums for campus employees, students and community members, according to the release.
The candidates are Stephen M. Curtis, Jack E. Daniels, and Ann Valentine, according to the release.
Curtis is the president of Community College of Philadelphia, Daniels is president of Los Angeles Southwest College, and Valentine is chancellor of the Wabash Valley Region of Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana.
An ad hoc presidential search committee comprised of Madison College district boards trustees is overseeing the selection process, according to the release.
An advisory committee comprised of college faculty, staff and students; community members, and business and education leaders was involved in the preliminary search and screening process to identify the three finalists recommended to the district board, according to the release.
