Wednesday's Concerts on the Square will feature music of James Taylor

Original featured artist unable to play due to travel problems

MADISON, Wis. - Due to travel problems this week's Concerts on the Square will now feature the music of James Taylor, according to a release.

Pianist Robert Wells will be unable to perform, so the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra has contracted with Jeans ‘n Classics for "Shower the People."

"While we are disappointed that Robert will not be joining us, we are very happy to be able to perform with Jeans ‘n Classics who always put on an incredible show," WCO Executive Director Mark Cantrell said in the release. "The music of James Taylor appeals to a wide audience, and I'm confident those joining us on Wednesday will have a great concert experience."

Wednesday's concert will feature many of Taylor's hits including "Carolina on My Mind," "Sweet Baby James," "You've Got a Friend" and "Fire and Rain."

"We welcome the opportunity to bring back Jeans ‘n Classics with another of their hit shows. They never fail to disappoint," Music Director Andrew Sewell said.
