Sun Prairie police release pictures of armed robber

Police: Man showed handgun, demanded money before fleeing on foot

SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. - Sun Prairie police are looking for a man who displayed a handgun while robbing a store Friday night, according to a release.

Around 10:50 p.m. officers were dispatched to the Stop-n-Go at 1708 Windsor St. for a report of an armed robbery, officials said.

The robber entered the store, displayed a handgun and ordered the clerk to give him money from the register, according to the release. He left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Officials said the robber concealed his identity, but he was wearing a dark-colored coat with a light-colored hood underneath and dark pants.
