Robber armed with box cutter demands cash

Sheriff says man fled on foot; K-9 track unsuccessful

TOWN OF WINDSOR, Wis. - A man armed with a box cutter robbed a woman Friday afternoon, authorities said.

The Dane County Sheriff's Office said at about 3:15 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery at  6700 block of Lake Road in town of Windsor.

A woman told deputies she was robbed by a masked man wielding a box cutter who demanded money. The robber fled on foot prior to the deputies' arrival, according to the report.

The sheriff's office attempted to track the man with the help of a K-9, but deputies were not successful. 

The robber was described as white, approximately 25 years old with brown eyes, according to the report. The victim told deputies the man was about 6 feet tall and weighed 180 pounds.
