Two men suspected of stealing watches from Meriter Hospital gift shop

MADISON, Wis. - Two men are suspected of stealing watches from a Meriter Hospital gift shop after their getaway car was identified on surveillance video, according to Madison police.

Officers said, Samuel D. Clay, 49, and Samuel D. Wright Jr., 46, took $300 worth of watches from a gift shop inside Meriter Hospital around 8:40 a.m. Wednesday.

Surveillance cameras showed the men fleeing the crime scene in a large white van with markings on the hood that said "Mamma's Man" and "Lil Skee."

Police said they arrested the men after the van they fled the scene in was identified and found parked at a nearby fast food restaurant.
