Med Flight transports 1 for injuries from motorcycle crash

Police: 2 ejected from motorcycle in crash west of Albany Saturday morning

TOWN OF MT. PLEASANT, Wis. - Two people were injured in a motorcycle crash west of Albany Saturday morning, Green County officials said.

Crews were dispatched around 11:10 a.m. for reports of a motorcycle crash on County Road F at Purintun Road in the town of Mt. Pleasant, according to a release.

Investigators said Donald J. Wilson, 28, of Stillman Valley, Illinois, was traveling northbound on County Road F when he failed to negotiate a curve.

Wilson and his passenger, Ashley A. Wilson, 27, of Stillman Valley, Illinois, were ejected from the motorcycle, officials said. Donald Wilson was transported by Albany EMS, and Ashley Wilson was transported by Med Flight to UW Hospital.

Neither passenger was wearing helmets or eye protection, according to the release. The motorcycle sustained moderate damage.

Donald Wilson will be cited for failing to keep a vehicle under control, officials said.
