Man injured in car versus motorcycle crash in Hwy 12

Deputies: Motorcycle driver sustained serious leg, arm injuries

DEERFIELD, Wis. - A 27-year-old Hartland man was transported by Med Flight after a motorcycle versus car crash Sunday, officials said.

Crews responded to 1326 Highway 12 just outside the town of Deerfield Sunday morning for reports of a crash.

The motorcycle driver, Alexander Chandler, rear-ended a Toyota Camry that was stopped on Highway 12 waiting to turn into Schuster's Farm, deputies said.

The motorcycle driver sustained serious leg and arm injuries but they are non-life-threatening, officials said. The driver and occupants of the Toyota did not report any injuries.

Chandler was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash, but Chandler will be cited for inattentive driving.
