Man beaten in convenience store parking lot

Victim able to get away from attackers

MADISON, Wis. - A Madison man told police he was beaten by three men in a convenience store parking lot Tuesday night.

The 36-year-old victim said he was punched several times while walking in the parking lot of the store at 2601 Fish Hatchery Road at about 9 p.m.

The men talked about taking the victim's wallet, but the victim said he was able to break free, and no one got any of his property.

He was treated at a hospital for his injures, and he was not able to provide detailed descriptions of the attackers.
