Cops: Evidence found at home of man arrested on robbery charge

30-year-old accused of stealing cash from sports bar

JANESVILLE, Wis. - Police said a Janesville man was arrested after an investigation into a sports bar robbery led officers to his door.

The Janesville Police Department said Justin A. Pedrick, 30, was taken into custody Friday and charged with armed robbery.

Police said the Sneakers Sports Bar and Grill was robbed of cash on Sunday at about 10 a.m.

As a result of the investigation, which included interviews with numerous witnesses and physical evidence, police said, officers identified Pedrick as the suspect.

A search warrant was served at Pedrick's Laramie Lane apartment where "additional physical evidence was found," according to the report. The report did not identify the evidence.

Pedrick was taken to Rock County Jail and charged with armed robbery, police said.

Sneakers Sports Bar and Grill is at 1221 Woodman Road.
