Kohl’s to lay off more than 60 people
Third party to handle accounts payable, sales audit functions
Layoffs are coming to Kohl’s Department Stores, which is based out of Menomonee Falls, according to a release.
The shopping giant reports it will lay off 67 people in its accounts payable and sales audit department, according to the release. The company has decided to have a third party vendor handle accounts payable and sales audit functions.
The workers affected are based out of Milwaukee, according to the release.
The company says the terminations are expected to be permanent, and will start in December and continue in phases through the end of February 2014.
According to the release, all terminated associates will be provided 60 days’ notice prior to their termination date and will be extended severance packages, including outplacement services.
