A judge will not allow a teen to withdraw his guilty pleas stemming from a house fire that killed his three nephews in southwestern Wisconsin.
The decision means 19-year-old Jeremy Wand, of Argyle, will be sentenced later Thursday on three felonies.
Wand was convicted of helping his brother, Armin Wand III, set a house fire last year. The fire killed Armin Wand's three sons, ages 3 to 7. It also injured Armin Wand's wife and killed their unborn baby.
Jeremy Wand pleaded guilty in June to three felonies. But he later said he was pressured into taking a plea deal and that his sister-in-law has recanted statements implicating the brothers in the fire.
Armin Wand was sentenced to three consecutive life terms.
