A highway maintenance truck was struck by a tractor-trailer during a line painting operation early Monday morning, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.
The crash in the westbound lanes of on Interstate 90 at mile marker 100, near Baraboo, occurred at 4:30 a.m.
Investigators said the maintenance truck was stopped in the right lane with an arrow board activated on the back alerting traffic to move into the left lane. The truck was providing protection for a truck that was painting the white line on the side of the highway.
A tractor-trailer was traveling in the right lane and failed to move left, striking the maintenance truck in the left rear, according to the State Patrol.
No one was injured. Both trucks had to be towed from the scene.
