MADISON, Wis. -

A Grant County man has been bound over for trial after being charged with 33 counts of possessing child pornography, according to a state Department of Justice release.

A preliminary trial was held Tuesday morning for Aaron Bouzek, who also faces charges of sexual exploitation and sexual assault of a child, officials said.

Bouzek sexually assaulted a child from two-years-old to eight-years-old, according to a criminal complaint. He is charged with two counts of repeated sexual assault of a child, three counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child and three counts of possession of child pornography in relation to one victim.

The charges span from the end of 2007 to April of 2014, according to the release.

Bouzek is also charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child and sexual exploitation of a child for incidents with an infant and a two-year-old, officials said. He is charged with another 18 counts of possession of child pornography.

If convicted, Bouzek faces up to 60 years in prison for the repeated sexual assault of a child charge and up to 60 years in prison for the first-degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 12 charge. He also faces up to 40 years in prison, a $100,000 fine or both for the possession of child pornography charges and 40 years in prison, $100,000 fine or both for the child exploitation charges.
