NEW CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Wis. -

Adams County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for man that robbed a Grand Marsh bank at gunpoint and stole a bank employee’s car Wednesday morning, according to a release.

Officials said the armed-robbery occurred around 9:21 a.m. at the Grand Marsh State Bank at 643 County Highway E.

The robber left the scene with an undisclosed amount of money that was placed in a small, blue duffle bag, according to the release.

The robber fled the scene in the vehicle of a bank employee; a four-door, white, 2010 Kia Optima LX with Wisconsin plates UBV759, according to the release.

The robber is described as white male, at least 6 feet tall, and about 190 pounds, according to the release. He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, jeans and tennis shoes.

The incident remains under investigation, and the suspect and vehicle have not been located, according to the release.

Officials ask anyone who sees someone matching the description to call local police officials and to not approach the suspect.
