MADISON, Wis. -

Red Cross workers from Madison, Monona, New Glarus and Lyndon Station are among those called to help in tornado relief efforts in Moore, Okla.

The American Red Cross said Connie Miley, of Monona, Paul Patenaude, of Madison, Erika Golden, of Lyndon Station, and Ashley Kinsman, of New Glarus, will spend a minimum of two weeks on the relief operation.

The Red Cross will also send John Ebsen, of Madison, Diana O'Neill, of Portage, and Brenda Haney, of DeForest.

An EF5 tornado killed 24 people in Moore on Monday. The rating is the highest possible for a tornado's power.

There were an estimated 13,000 structures damaged in the town of Moore alone, and the bulk of the losses from the storm system were concentrated there.
