MADISON, Wis. -

Police said a fight outside a Janesville bar lead to a vehicle pursuit and a drunken driving charge early Saturday.

The Janesville Police Department said three men were seen fighting outside a bar on Beloit Avenue at about 12:44 a.m. after a hip-hop concert.

Officers dispersed the crowd and arrested 31-year-old Zachary Geimer, who they said caused the fight and was still armed with a knife when police took him into custody.

Police attempted to stop a vehicle leaving the lot during the fight, but the driver fled, leading officers on a chase for less than a mile, according to the report. The car left the roadway and became stuck in the snow in a plowed field on the 2600 block of Venture Drive.

Curtis Dortch, 34, was arrested and charged with fleeing, second-offense operating while intoxicated and driving with a revoked license, police said.

Police also said 35-year-old Christopher Brooks was arrested on a probation hold.

A man was treated and released at Mercy Hospital for a laceration to his hand, police said. It wasn't clear if it was one of the men arrested or another party who was injured.
