The Township of Watertown called for aid from Marshall and Cambridge fire departments after a call came in of a farm house engulfed in flames early Thursday morning.

The farm house is on County Highway X in the Township of Watertown.

Firefighters quickly gained control of the fire.

"Due to the distance we need for water, we actually had this as a second box alarm and we had multiple engines, apparatus and tenders for the water source," said Kraig Biefeld, assistant chief of the Watertown First Department.

Biefeld said the fire started on the porch before moving to the attic and out of the roof.

He said no one was injured, but the family will have to stay somewhere else.
