EMS revive unconscious driver pulled from vehicle by citizen
Police: Driver admits to shooting heroin before passing out
A concerned citizen attempted to revive a driver who was unconscious in a vehicle that was stopped in the middle of traffic Friday afternoon, according to a release.
The citizen pulled Kimberly K. Olson, 30, of Madison, out from behind the wheel of a car that was stopped in the middle of the road where East Towne Boulevard meets Independence Lane, police said.
The woman began life-saving measures as police and fire were called, according to the release. Paramedics arrived, administered Narcan, and Olson was revived.
Olson admitted to shooting heroin and apologized for her actions, officials said. She was arrested on tentative charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and on a probation hold.
