Police have found a man with Alzheimer’s that left an Edgerton grocery store Tuesday afternoon and hadn’t been seen since, according to a release.
Edgerton police said Francis Janitch, of Edgerton, was found at 2 a.m. Wednesday in Joliet, Ill., about 145 miles from where he was last seen. The Edgerton man was located 11 hours after he'd dropped his wife off at the Piggly Wiggly in Edgerton Tuesday.
According to the Edgerton Police Department, Janitch was found safe in his black Chrysler Concord by Joliet police. Arrangements have been made to return him home.
