MADISON, Wis. -

Madison police say an argument led to a car going airborne before crashing in a field Saturday afternoon.

Witnesses told police the car suddenly veered off the road, hit a snowbank, went airborne and crashed into a field in the 3900 block of Bartillon Drive at about 4:28 p.m.

The driver, a 38-year-old Madison man, told police his passenger, Kayla D. Raines, 29, of Madison, kicked the steering wheel during an argument causing him to lose control.

Raines was arrested on suspicion of first-degree reckless endangerment.
