DCHS: Unlikely cat-dog-duo adopted together
Family believes Candy, JJ will do well in their ‘geriatric animal home’
The Dane County Humane Society says an unlikely cat-and-dog duo has been adopted.
Candy and JJ lived together for years, but were torn apart when their owners were killed in a violent domestic dispute.
Now they have been adopted together to their new home.
The family already has a 13-year-old Bassett named Emma and a 17-year-old cat named Lucky. Lucky has hypothyroidism and Emma has severe hip and leg issues along with arthritis.
They said they believe JJ and Candy will do well in their “geriatric animal home.”
