Victim robbed in a parking lot on Whitney Way

MADISON, Wis. - Madison police are looking for a suspect after a robbery on Whitney Way.

Madison police said a 26-year-old male was parked Tuesday night in a parking lot in the 600 block of South Whitney Way. According to the victim, he had money in his lap that he was counting. The victim said he planned to use it at a nearby store.

The victim said an unidentified male approached him with a knife, and robbed him of the cash. The suspect then fled toward the Beltline. He is described as a 40-year-old man in a white Toyota Corolla.

There were no injuries reported.
