Business burglarized twice; Handguns taken, officials say

RICHLAND CENTER, Wis. - Richland Center police are asking for information on two burglaries in the downtown area in the last month, according to a release.

Officials said someone broke into Hunter’s Outlet at 182 N. Main St. around 9 p.m. Dec. 17 and Dec. 19 around 1:15 a.m. Each time, handguns were taken.

According to the release, significant physical force was used to get into the buildings.

Police officers are encouraging area businesses to be extra vigilant with physical security, especially when closing and opening their businesses.
